“Brookville will ship from our production floor to your front door!!"

This short film clip demonstrates a recent move of four 115ton locomotives to Staten Island Railway. The transfer relied on the coordination of railroads, marine terminals and tugboats/barges, and a heavy haul trucking company.

Operating in northwest Pennsylvania since 1918, Brookville Equipment has developed a shipping/receiving system that assures our products are delivered without fail to their destinations. BEC has shipped its locomotives to all parts of the globe, accounting for nearly 80 different countries as final destinations on Brookville’s log books.
BEC personnel work with a just-in-time shipping and receiving process, making sure that shipping the tiniest bolts to the 60 foot, 132 ton BL20GH locomotive is done efficiently.
Inventory’s shipping dock has the fastest turn-around time possible of incoming and outgoing parts and components.  Utilizing an Executive Information System throughout our facility, orders are tracked from initial contact to delivery.
Brookville’s shipping departments include:

Brookville utilizes all available modes of shipment by Land, Sea, and Air.
